Remove Sidebar on Page or Post | 3.0 Templates


This tutorial will teach you how to selectively remove the sidebar from an individual page or post on your Blogger site. This does not apply to the home pages or index (Label or Archive) pages.

This tutorial applies to the following templates only:

  • Anaise
  • Adelle
  • Jemma
  • Abigail
  • Savannah
  • Piper + Paige

How to remove the sidebar on a page or post

  1. On the Blogger Dashboard, go to the Posts or Pages page.
  2. Find the post or page to edit. Click on the Edit link to open the post/page editor.
  3. In the editor, click on the HTML button at the top left corner to switch to HTML mode.
  4. At the top of the page before any other content, insert the following code:
.main-inner .column-right-outer,
.main-inner .column-left-outer {
display: none;
.main-inner .columns {
padding-right: 0;
padding-left: 0;
max-width: 800px;
margin: 0 auto;

* You can change the max-width value to change the width of the content.

Click the Update button to save your changes.
