Show Hero Header on ALL Pages


By making minor changes to the template code, you can display the hero header on all pages.

This tutorial also includes code to paste into posts are pages to hide the hero header on individual posts or pages.

 Show Hero Header on ALL Pages

  1. On the Blogger Dashboard, go to the Theme page.
  2. Click on the  Edit HTML button.hall1.png
  3. The template code editor will open.
  4. Click anywhere in the code window.
  5. Press the Control + F or Command + F buttons to open the search box in the upper right corner.hall2.png
  6. Search for: Begin Hero Header
  7. Hit the Enter key to search
  8. You will find the following chunk of code:hall3.png
  9. Delete the lines as shown below:hall4.png
  10. Leave the rest of the code intact.
  11. Click the Preview theme button to make sure you haven't broken your site.
  12. If your Preview looks ok. Click the Save theme button.

Hide Hero Header on Post or Page

  1. On the Blogger Dashboard, go to the Posts or Pages page.
  2. Click on the title of the post or page to edit.
  3. The post/page editor will open.
  4. Click on the HTML button. The code editor will open.
  5. Paste the following code at the top of the page before all other code:
  6. <style>
    #hero {display:none !important;}
  7. Click the Update button.
